SERGS Robotic Surgery Course – Intermediate Level, March 5–6, 2026
Under the auspices of the Society of European Robotic Gynaecological Surgery (SERGS) and in collaboration with SHRGS
The Society of Hellenic Robotic Gynecologic Surgery (SHRGS) is pleased to announce the organization of the SERGS Robotic Surgery Course – Intermediate Level, an advanced hands-on training program in robotic gynecological surgery, under the patronage of SERGS.
This program represents the next stage of the official SERGS Training & Certification Pathway and is aimed at physicians who have already completed the Level 1 Certification and wish to further develop their skills in more demanding technical and ergonomic tasks within the robotic environment.
Educational Objectives
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Deepen their knowledge of surgical ergonomics and the precise handling of robotic instruments,
- Perform advanced exercises in both dry-lab and wet-lab, including suturing, tissue dissection, and hysterectomy on a simulator,
- Familiarize themselves with docking and emergency undocking procedures,
- Prepare for the final skill assessment within the SERGS Level 2 curriculum.

Program Purpose
The Intermediate Level Course aims to bridge the gap between basic and advanced robotic surgery training, promoting surgical precision, cognitive skills, and patient safety. Through intensive hands-on training on cutting-edge simulators, participants are prepared for the operational proficiency required in real-world surgical environments.
SHRGS, in collaboration with SERGS, enhances access for Greek gynecologists to high-level European training and international certification in robotic surgery.
